Versace Punk Style A/W 2013

 So A/W is nearly upon us, and it's time to update our wardrobes and make-up bags to adapt to the change in season.
So what is going to be hot this season? Hot on the A/W Catwalks we saw the punk look going strong, think tartans, pvc, studs and androgynous jackets and coats. Team this with Smudge eyed dark make-up with heavilly kholed eyes and you are well on the way to being on trend.

Stella McCartney bought us softer versions of the Tartan look with Androgynous styled coats and tailored drain pipe trousers. Obviously we don't all have the money to afford to dress head to foot in designer but not to worry as the High street has there own versions to offer us. River Island have done  the punk look epicly with loads of tartan and amazing punk jackets and boots. Even Primark are hot on the trend with leather look biker jackets and they even have a great tartan Biker jacket.

Il actually be recycling my last years River Island Tartan Midi Dress ( above right) and teaming it with  some black Doc martins or biker boots and loads of black eyeliner, I really love the cut and style of the dress and it's perfect to wear for the punk trend.

Another Great trend is the new suit which consists of the pencil skirt and sweater, a kind of fresh take on what was once a popular 80's look, Lacoste bought two trends together with there sports luxe version combining the Rounded shoulder trend with the 2 piece skirt and sweater trend, (Round shoulders were everywhere on the catwalks of Alexander Wang, Donna Karan, Proenza schouler to name a few) I quite fancy bagging myself a leopard print version.
Speaking of leopard print again another season see's a fresh new set of designers making good use of animal print, I personally can't get enough of the leopard print look

Another one of my favourites was the Sister by Sibling Red leopard print look(below) It is definatly on my wish list for the winter months, Its just amazing, I love it.

Another Hot A/W Trend is the polka dot, the runways were filled with Polka dot jackets, Skirts and anything else that could fit a polka print on, Even If you don't have enough left to invest in the polka dot trend why not Make like Miu Miu and Take a mustard/ Yellow Nail polish and paint your nails adding black polka dots, a quick and easy way to connect with the polka dot trend. If you can see on the Miu Miu picture shoes are all about heavy treads, Im loving this and it spans all across the different brands and styles it may be a leather strappy shoe or a tartan lace up but expect the soles to have wide platforms and heavy treads.

A/W Make - up trends

So what make up tips are we seeing this season? well it's to be expected darker more rich intense looks, but there was actually a high impact of barely there, perfectly glowing skin with thin barely there topliner, this was played out at Victoria Beckham,Alexander wang and proenza schoeler.
There's the grunge Can't be bothered Nod to the 90's look to go with the punk collections, this look is perfected with simple natural hair and dark smudged eyes. There was also some 6o's style Eyeliner looks to be seen.
Lips were bathed in Red wine, and crimson shades and the partly stained lip stains are a A/W must.

There are so many different looks to play with this season and i am looking forward to playing with these looks and styling some outfit of the day posts for you guys, infact I can't wait to purchase some new things to mix with some of the beauties I already have lurking in my wardrobe and trying some looks out. Well what can I say any excuse to go on a spending splurge Hee hee.
